Cancellation Policy

All clients may reschedule their appointment once, up to 72 hours in advance, with no charge. Rescheduling requests must be sent via email to readerbythewood@gmail.com.

Cancellations/rescheduling within 48 hours will be charged 50%. Cancellations/rescheduling within 24 hours will be charged 100% - Thank you for respecting my schedule.

Jamie does not reschedule or provide refunds for missed appointments.

Jamie considers a client to have missed their appointment after 15 minutes.

In the event that I (Jamie) needs to cancel, you will be provided the option of a full refund or rescheduling.

Client safety and trust is paramount to me. I will treat you with respect and kindness and expect the same from you. I will continually educate myself and do my best to be aware of the complexity of clients' identities, including, but not limited to: culture, race, religion, ability, gender identity, age, and sexual orientation.

I will honestly represent my training, education and experience connected with your service. Including but not limited to the tarot, mediumship, and other spiritual/magical practices.

Confidentiality: Your name and information shared or discussed during readings will be kept confidential. All information shared between you and I is confidential but is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like in Medicine or Law). I agree to not disclose any information that would identify you without your express consent. And I will not disclose your name as a reference without your express consent. Confidential information does not include information that: (a) was in my possession prior to its being furnished by you; (b) is generally known to the public or in your industry; (c) is obtained by me from a third party, without breach of any obligation to Client; (d) is independently developed by me without use of or reference to your confidential information; or (e) that I am required by law to disclose.

I will respect my clients’ right to refuse or terminate their reading at any time.

I will answer questions about the reading to the best of my ability. I will tell the truth of what I see and will respect the wishes of a client who does not want to hear everything I have to say.

I am a lifetime student and I will work to better my skills so that I may serve my clients to the best of my ability.

I will remind my clients that they are ultimately the ones responsible for what happens in their life. The tarot and other spiritual/magical practices will magnify and complement one's efforts to improve one's life, but are not a replacement for "doing the work" in the mundane world.

Boundaries

If you violate any of the following personal or professional boundaries, I reserve the right to end your services and still retain your investment. You may also be barred from receiving services from me in the future.

By booking and receiving services from me or by registering and attending any of my workshops, classes, or programs, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. They include disclaimers around limit to liability, non-disparagement, no-guarantees, confidentiality, and more.

By using my services, this website, and and any other platforms I use, you are agreeing to my Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

I do not allow more than one person in a session unless it has been previously arranged or is part of the service

Under no circumstances are children allowed in a reading. We often cover difficult topics and there are some discussions that are simply not safe or appropriate for kids.

I will not perform a reading for anyone under the age of 18 unless a parent or guardian is present at the time of the reading, which must be arranged with me ahead of time. Under no circumstances will I perform an email reading for anyone under the age of 18.

Under no circumstances are you to use any materials or information provided to you in classes, workshops, teaching programs, on this website, or on any of my social media accounts outside of your own personal development.

Non - Disparagement

By purchasing any of the services offered by Jamie Anderson, the Reader by the Wood, you agree that you shall not make any false, disparaging or derogatory statements to Jamie Anderson, the Reader by the Wood. You shall not harass, bully, or otherwise cross professional or personal boundaries set by Jamie Anderson, the Reader by the Wood for them as well as for their employees. Any behavior deemed to violate this clause will result in the termination of the service you purchased and you will be barred from purchasing or enrolling in any services in the future, including services offered for free. You will still remain responsible for the full investment, including any future monthly payments, of the services you purchased.

No Guarantees

Any and all current or past-client testimonials, statements, or examples used by Jamie Anderson, the Reader by the Wood are simply that: examples. They are not guarantees that you will also experience or receive the same results. Each client and his/her/their circumstances are unique and nothing shall be interpreted as a guarantee that you will experience.

Chargeback

Jamie Anderson, the Reader by the Wood, does not accept any chargeback threats (real or threatened). If any chargebacks are placed on any purchase of our services, we will report said incident to the major credit reporting agencies. Doing so could have a negative impact on your credit report and/or credit score. Should we need to do so and you would like to have this report removed from your credit report, please contact us to arrange for payment owed. Once payment owed is received, we will make the appropriate reports to the credit agencies.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Jamie Anderson, the Reader by the Wood, disclaims any and all liability pertaining to your use and purchase of these services. Please book and purchase these services at your own risk, after making an independent assessment of risk.

Jamie Anderson, the Reader by the Wood, does not assume liability for damages, injuries, harm, death, misuse of (or failure to properly use) information or documents, due to any act, or failure to act, by you. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, your sole and exclusive remedy for negligence, failure to perform, or breach by us shall be a refund of the amount paid for such service or product. IN NO EVENT SHALL I BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
